Hello everyone i just received my 556 swat and 522 i was trying to put on my harris bipod adapter on my 556 but i noticed I have to take the gun down in order for adapter to slide in. so i bought a 2 peice adaptor i would like to buy a 2 peice vertical grip so i don't have take the gun down any and all recomendation would be appreciated also any links

Ergo's grips don't have to slide on. You loosen the adjustment and one side loosens and you rock it on and off the rails. My MagPul AFG is supposed to be slid on but you can take it apart and snap it onto the rail and then put all the screws back in.
